High School: Della Vecchia was an Honorable Mention All-League selection as a senior at Roy C. Ketcham High School… In 2015 as a junior, she led the team with four home runs at the plate… She played in the summer with Team Long Island from 2012-17, helping the program capture the 2016 Virginia Nationals title… She belted 19 home runs with Team Long Island in 2016, including four homers in four straight plate appearances in the championship game… She also tossed two no-hitters on the mound during her travel ball career
