Biography

2021: First-team All-America East ... Departed as program's all-time singles leader with 166 after passing Shayla Giosia, who had 150 from 2012-15 ... Completed career ranked fourth in program history in runs scored (134) ... Appeared in all 43 games (42 starts), hitting .346 with five homers, 18 RBIs and team-leading 12 steals in 13 attempts ... Delivered opposite-field solo homer in third inning for lone run in 1-0 victory vs. Binghamton on March 27.

2020: America East Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Started every game and hit a career-best .431 with a homer and 11 RBI ... America East Player of Week on Feb. 25 ... Hit for cycle vs. Providence on Feb. 22. ... Tallied three hits and an RBI vs. Akron on Feb. 28 ... Went 3-for-4 with an RBI vs. Akron on Feb. 29.

2019: Played in all 51 games for the Seawolves, hitting .306 (55-180)…Went 3-4 against UMass Lowell on April 27…Had six stolen bases…Had 63 putouts in right field..Named to the All-Conference Second Team…

2018: Started in 46 games for the Seawolves… Hit .207 with 30 hits and five doubles… was five for five in stolen bases … Recorded six multi-hit games…

2017: Started all 47 games as a freshman… Hit .335 with four home runs and 15 RBIs… Had a team-high 54 hits in 161 at-bats… Scored a team-high 30 runs, and stole six bases on seven attempts… Had 10 doubles and 10 walks… Recorded 18 multi-hit games… Had three home runs in the Stony Brook Invitational from March 25-26… Won America East Rookie of the Week twice… Was named to the America East All-Rookie team... Went 7-for-15 with four runs scored in the America East Championships.

High School:  A three-sport athlete who also lettered in soccer and wrestling, Hering led Todd Beamer High School to its first league title in school history. As a junior, she hit .447 with 28 runs scored and a .807 slugging pct. Hering's father Brian coached her at Todd Beamer. She plays her travel ball for coach Wayne Miller and the Washington Lady Hawks Gold.
