Outdoor: Finished 2nd (21.96) in the 200m, 2nd (3:16.73) in the 4x400, and 3rd (42.01) in the 4x100 at the 2019 America East Outdoor Championships... was part of the 4x100 team that won the Wolfie Invitational with a time of 42.09... Finished 5th (21.85) in the 200m and 4th (41.61) in the 4x100 at the UCONN Northeast Challenge... Won the 300m (35.70) and the 4x100 (42.01) at the Stony Brook University Snow Flake Spring Opener...

Indoor: Placed sixth in the 500m dash (1:09.41), a part of the third place 4x400m relay team (3:28.61), and ran in the 60m dash (7.32) at the Fordham Indoor Meet (12/2)…  competed in the 400m run (50.21) and part of the 4x400m relay team (3:21.62) at the John Thomas Terrier Classic (1/28)… ran the 400m dash (51.57) at the Metropolitan Championships (2/3)… competed in the 200m dash (22.95) at the Fastrack Invitational (2/10)… part of the third place 4x400m relay team (3:16.91) and ran in the 200m (22.72) and 400m (50.64) at the America East Indoor Championships (2/25)… part of the 4x400m relay team (3:18.50) at the IC4A Championships (3/4)


High School 
2016 graduate of Half Hollow Hills High School West… a three-year letter winner as a sprinter… earned All-County and All-State in 2014,2015, and 2016… was a County Champion in 2015 and 2016…earned Long Island Champion in 2016… was named Team MVP in 2016… elected team captain for the 2015-2016 season… was on the high honor roll.

Son of Yasser Galal and Shaymea Abdelkader… brother of Belal and Jenna Galal ... Multidisciplinary studies major.
