Biography
2014-15:
Indoor: Set a school record in the 200-meter and placed ninth in 25.24 seconds at the America East Indoor Championships (2/20)... part of the 4x400 relay team that finished fifth in 3:58.05 and placed seventh in a school-record time of 25.24 seconds in the 200-meter dash finals at the America East Indoor Championships (2/21).
Outdoor: Was the winner in the 300-meters in 41.29 at the Stony Brook Quad Meet (3/28)...part of the 4x100-meter relay team that placed 10th in a school-record time of 48.34 and broke records in 100-meter dash (12.41 seconds) and 200-meter dash (24.96 seconds). at the Colonial Relays (4/3-4).
2013-14:
Indoor:Began her collegiate career by winning the 200-meter dash in 26.2 seconds and helping Stony Brook place second in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:15.5 at the Fordham Quad Meet (12/6).
Outdoor: Won the 100-meter dash in 12.49 at the Stony Brook Quad Meet (3/29).
High School: Two-time Staten Island Advance All-Star at Port Richmond High School...200-meter Staten Island Outdoor champion...won two Staten Island titles in the 55-meter....captured the Staten Island crown in the 300-meter...part of the 4x400 relay squad that broke the Staten Island record in the event on a time of 3:51...holds school records in 200- and 300-meter with times of 24.9 and 40.91, respectively.
Personal: Majoring in health sciences...daughter of Eric Jones and Cicily Humes-James...stepdaughter to Eric Jones...sister of Darin Humes-James and Sidney Humes-James...favorite actor is Denzel Washington.
