Molly Lambert is in her sixth season as assistant coach in 2011. Working with the midfield and defense, Lambert has helped establish a defensive mentality as Stony Brook has consistenly been one of the nation[apos]s leaders in ground balls per game, ranking third in 2008. In 2007, she helped goalie Jen Sandtorv to a .515 save percentage good for 10th in the country.

Prior to Stony Brook, Lambert spent time playing lacrosse in South Australia and coached girls ages 14-17.

She also spent each summer during her collegiate career working as an instructor at the All-American Lacrosse Camps.

A defensive standout at the University of Maryland, Lambert was a three-year starter, playing in each game in 2003 and 2004. Lambert won an NCAA Championship in 2001 as a teammate of current Stony Brook head coach Allison Comito. She also played alongside former Seawolf Kaitlin Leggio[apos]s sister, Kristie. In her four years, Lambert scored 12 goals and had six assists, spending time at attack and midfield and was team captain in 2004. Lambert graduated from Maryland in 2004 with a degree in family studies.
