Liz Alaimo

Liz Alaimo began at Stony Brook University in the summer of 2021, serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Her primary athletic training service responsibilities are with the women's lacrosse program; Liz also serves as a preceptor for Stony Brook’s Athletic Training Program and as an adjunct Professor within the Health Sciences School of Health Professions.

Prior to Stony Brook, Liz spent a year at Johns Hopkins University as the Resident Athletic Trainer during the 2019-20 year, and with Premier Sports Medicine during the 2020-21 year.  Liz served as the Athletic Trainer for football, women's basketball and men's lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University. During the 2020-21 year, Liz served as the Director of Marketing for Premier Sports Medicine and as the Athletic Trainer at Cardinal Spellman High School, along with numerous outreach programs and events throughout New York and New Jersey.

A native of West Nyack, N.Y., Liz graduated with her Bachelors in Biology and Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Seton Hall University in 2019.
