Swam season-best times of 1:07.13 in the 100 fly and 2:40.96 in the 200 fly against Maine (11/8).
High School:
Six-time letterwinner at Long Beach High School for coach Joe Hoffman... named captain of the swim team her senior year... two-time all-county selection (2003-2004) and named MVP in 2004... member of the honors society and president of the foreign language honors society... swam for the Long Beach Tigersharks club team.

Karen Hinojosa... born January 1, 1986... daughter of Rutnia and Jaime Hinojosa... a biology major.
