Biography
2024-25: Opened the season with two first-place finishes in the 50-yard free and the 100-yard fly against Sacred Heart… Continued to earn top performances against Siena, with wins coming in the 100-yard back and 100-yard fly (57.95) … Tallied two more first place finishes in the 50-yard free (24.67), and the 100-yard free (53.98) against CCSU … Competed at the ECAC Winter Championships, recording numerous top 5 finishes including third in the 100-yard fly (56.07), fourth in the 100-yard back, and fifth in the 50-yard free… Placed second overall in the 50-yard fly against Northeastern… Finished first in the 100-yard fly and second in the 50-yard free against both NJIT and Monmouth… Tallied a second place finish in the 200-yard free against Manhattan… Concluded the season at the CAA Championships, placing 14th in the 100-yard fly (55.07).
2023-24: Part of record-breaking 200-yard freestyle relay record with a record time of 1:34:72… First in the 200 medley relay (1:49:63), first individual win in the 50 free (24:85), first place in the 100-yard butterfly (58:12), and first in the 400 free relay (3:38:06) against Monmouth… First in the 100-yard butterfly (57:71), second in the 200-yard relay (1:49:51) against Rider… First in the 200-yard medley (1:47:08), First in the 50-yard butterfly (25:69) against Wagner... Was part of 200 Medley Relay team that finished ninth at the CAA championships with a time of 1:44.83... Was part of 400 Medley Relay team that set a program record at the CAA championships with a time of 3:48.48... 2022-23: Had a stellar rookie season, earning a pair of first place finishes in the 50-yard free and 100-yard fly against Sacred Heart…Finished first in the 50-yard free (24.70) and second in the 200-yard IM (2:11.31) against Central Connecticut…Earned a pair of third place finishes in the 50-yard and 100-yard free against St. Francis and Staten Island…Had top finishes in the 50-yard free and 100-yard fly against Siena…Competed in the 50-yard free, 100-yard fly, and 200-yard IM at the ECAC Championships…Finished first against Monmouth and NJIT in a trio of events in 50-yard free (24.65), 100-yard fly (58.28), and 200-yard IM (2:14.10)... Finished first in the 100-yard fly (57.62) and second in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.25) against NJIT and Rider…At the CAA Championships, finished seventh in the 100-yard fly while competing in the 50-yard and 100-yard free.
AT OREGON CITY HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the National Honor Society and National Honor Science Society… Competed for Lake Oswego Swim Club… Earned Scholastic All-American honors... Was the MVP of Oregon City senior year… First-team All-League in high school.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Minh and Huey Vu, has one older brother named Kevin who swims for Niagara.
