2018-19 (Freshman)
Placed 13th in the 50 free (24.48) and 16th in the 100 free (54.23) at the America East Championships… Runner-up in the 100 free (54.89) vs. UNH and Binghamton… Took second in the 50 free (25.06) and swam the freestyle leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:51.40) vs. Adelphi and Iona… Finished sixth in the 50 free (24.20) and ninth in the 100 free (53.17) at the ECAC Winter Championships… Placed second in the 50 free (25.31) and 100 free (54.67) and helped the 400 free relay team (3:43.59) to victory vs. LIU Post.
Before Stony Brook:Â Wootton was a member of the varsity swimming and diving program at Connetquot High School under head coach Alex Shichilone.
Personal: From Oakdale, New York... Daughter of Gregg and Lisa, sister of Katie and Chris... Plans to major in Biology at Stony Brook.
