Mauricio Doria-Medina is a former Davis Cup competitor for Bolivia and a PTR/ITF-certified tennis coach with a distinguished background in high-performance player development. With experience coaching athletes on the ATP and WTA tours as well as at the collegiate level, he offers a unique international perspective and proven expertise in guiding competitive players to success.

In his first season with the team, he helped the squad to seven victories in 2026. They earned four CAA victories including three straight to end conference play. The season was highlighted by several individual accomplishments. Elena Lobo-Corral became the first player in program history to earn First Team All-CAA Singles honors and was also recognized as a CSC Academic All-District selection. Paisha Douglas earned Third Team All-CAA Singles recognition. 

Currently serving as the Tennis Director at Three Village Tennis Club and Volunteer Assistant Coach at Stony Brook University, Mauricio specializes in preparing players for the demands of college tennis and beyond. His commitment to excellence, combined with a global tennis pedigree, makes him a valuable asset to every program he leads.
