Biography
2025-26 (FRESHMAN): CAA Singles Player of the Week on Feb. 3... Finished her first season on Long Island with an 11-11 record in singles play... Won five of her first six singles matches in the spring, earning victories over Army, Monmouth, NJIT, Queens and Adelphi to secure CAA Singles Player of the Week honors... Added CAA singles victories over Campbell, Hofstra and William & Mary... Posted a 14-12 record in doubles play... Won six straight and seven of her first eight doubles matches in the spring alongside Charles... Earned CAA doubles victories with Charles over Hofstra, Monmouth, Campbell and Drexel.
PERSONAL: Ozola joins Stony Brook with a strong background in national and international competition, earning two U18 Latvian National Doubles Championship titles and the U16 Latvian National Doubles Championship, along with three ITF J60 doubles titles and two J30 doubles titles. She was also a finalist in the U18 Latvian National Singles Championship and reached a career-high ITF junior ranking of 970 on Sept. 30, 2024. Ozola has played tennis since age 11 and graduated from Riga State Gymnasium No. 2, where she led a student-run “mock company” that was nominated for best brand in Latvia.
