Jack Clark

Jack Clark joined the Stony Brook University Athletics Department in August 2023 as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. In his role, Clark serves as the primary communications contact for the Seawolves’ men’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, softball, women’s soccer and cross country and track and field programs.

Clark came to Stony Brook by way of Iona University, where he served most recently as the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Communications from June 2021 to July 2023. In his role as the Assistant AD/Athletic Communications, Clark served as the primary media contact for Iona’s women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and softball programs. He also led all creative/design efforts for the department’s 21 varsity programs. Additionally, Clark oversaw and managed student-workers and department interns.

Before being elevated to Assistant AD/Athletic Communications, Clark held the roles of Assistant Director of Athletic Communications (Nov. 2018 - June 2021) and Athletic Communications Assistant (Sept. 2016 - Oct. 2018). In both roles, he served as the primary communications contact for the women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and softball programs.

As an undergraduate student at Iona, Clark worked as a game day events assistant and inside the athletics communications office.

The Suffolk County native earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Iona in 2017 and later earned a Master’s degree in Sports Communication and Media from Iona in 2022.
