Stony Brook University Athletics

Jeremy Kuri enters his fifth year with Stony Brook Athletics after graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Media Arts in May of 2024. Kuri began his role of Graduate Assistant for Creative Services in the summer of 2024.

Prior to this role, Kuri began as an intern with Stony Brook Athletics in the summer of 2020, continuing as a student worker in the fall of 2020. 

As a student, he worked as a Creative Services Assistant with Stony Brook Athletics. He specialized in creative video, photo and graphic design while majoring in Journalism and Media Art at Stony Brook University. In the spring of 2023, he produced content and covered the softball team during their CAA Softball Tournament run. In the following spring, Kuri created content and covered the women's basketball and women’s lacrosse teams during their CAA Tournaments and NCAA Championship, respectively.

In the summer of 2023 Kuri interned with Duke Athletics, participating in the Open Door Initiative Program. With the Blue Devils, he produced and edited content for the men’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, and women’s soccer social media accounts. During his time in Durham, Kuri also met with senior leadership, conducted analytical content analysis and created graphics for the Iron Duke’s department.

The New York native specializes in basketball content in his current role, while playing an integral role in content creation and collection for all of Stony Brook's Division I athletic programs and events.
