As Assistant AD for Business & HR, Lauren Singer leads all facets of HR administration and assists with all business operations within the athletic department.
Her responsibilities include the coordination of department search and hiring processes, employee orientation/on-boardings, and tracking performance programs and evaluations for all employees. In addition to all HR duties, she works closely with the daily operations of the athletic business office and various other projects.

She joined Stony Brook Athletics in July 2015.

Singer previously spent five seasons as an assistant coach with the Florida International University women’s soccer team. During that time, the Panthers transitioned from the Sun Belt Conference to Conference USA and qualified for the league tournament during their inaugural season. Singer helped guide the 2013 senior class to the third-most wins of any class in program history. Singer's squads previously won two Sun Belt Conference titles and made the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1993.

During her collegiate career at Miami, Singer led her teams to consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament, in 2007 and 2008.

The product of Mount Sinai, N.Y., earned accolades as a second-team All-ACC selection. The midfielder also earned two mentions on the All-ACC Academic Team.

Singer graduated from Miami with a B.S. in sports administration and minor in marketing in 2011. She earned a master's in sports management from FIU in 2013.
