Stony Brook University Athletics

Olivia Wiser joined Stony Brook Athletics as an Athletic Academic Advisor in August 2026, where she advises the men’s soccer and men’s and women’s cross country and track & field teams. Prior to joining the department in a full-time capacity, Wiser served as an Academic Success Coach and Interim Academic Advisor within Stony Brook Athletics, providing academic advising and individualized support to Stony Brook's Division I student-athletes.
 

Wiser has been involved with academic support at Stony Brook University for more than four years. She previously served as a Lead Tutor for Stony Brook Athletics, providing individualized and small-group tutoring to student-athletes in mathematics, business, and writing, and as a Peer Assisted Learning Leader for mathematics through the Academic Success and Tutoring Center. In her roles within Athletics, she has supported student-athletes with academic planning, time management, NCAA eligibility, goal setting, and overall academic success.

Wiser earned a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Mathematics, Business, and Political Science from Stony Brook University in 2023. She went on to earn a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Innovation in 2024 and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Administration in 2026, both from Stony Brook University.
