Priscilla Gillies joined Stony Brook in January 2026 as a Student-Athlete Development Assistant, supporting the planning and execution of student-athlete development programming and events under the leadership of Arnika Edwards.
Born on Long Island and raised in Southern California, Gillies was a standout softball player at JSerra Catholic High School, where she served as team captain as a junior and senior and earned the 2021 Father Damien Impact Player Award. She went on to play four seasons at Long Island University, helping the Sharks capture the 2023 Northeast Conference Tournament Championship and an NCAA Regional berth, as well as the 2025 NEC Regular Season Championship. Gillies was a four-time NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll selection, a three-time Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete, and the recipient of the 2025 LIU Softball Sharon Pascale Award. She also served as LIU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee NEC Representative in 2024.
Gillies graduated cum laude from LIU in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She brings experience gained through marketing roles with Bishop Gold Group and Cisneros Chiropractic, as well as positions with 090 Media/IMAX Live and Camp Birchmont.
