Princeton Hands Volleyball 19th Loss

Princeton, N.J. - The Stony Brook volleyball team (10-19) fell to Princeton on Tuesday night, 15-7, 15-9, 15-9.

Jaime O'Connor, Cynthia Orengo and Debra Falkenberg each had seven kills to lead the Seawolves, and Rachel Goldsmith had 11 digs but it wasn't enough as Stony Brook suffered its 19th loss on the season. Princeton's Kellie Cramm had 13 kills, while Sabrina King registered a match-high 14 digs to pace the Tigers. Ana Yoerg had 41 assists in the match, while the Seawolves' leader was Alison Fields with 28.

The Seawolves hit just .034, and Princeton (18-8) took advantage as they cruised to their 18th win.

The Seawolves return to action on Wednesday when they host Iona at 7 p.m.
