Army's men's swimming and diving team topped regional rival Stony Brook University 160-74 in the season opener for both teams on Tuesday night.

Leading the way for the Seawolves was senior Igor Voloshin, who captured first place in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:18.71.

Freshman Kevin Burke was a double winner for the Black Knights in the 200 free (1:48.62) and 200 butterfly. The Black Knights' Dan Downs broke the meet record in the 50 free, touching the wall in 22.37.

The Seawolves return to action on Nov. 10 when they travel to face Providence.
