Hartford, CT - Stony Brook University improved to 4-4 in the America East and 11-14 overall with a 3-0 shutout victory of Hartford Wednesday night, winning, 30-24, 30-20 and 30-28.

The Seawolves were led by Valerie Maloy who had a team-high 13 kills and three service aces and Debra Falkenberg who had eight kills. Susanne Westing had a match-high 17 digs and Regine Lilavois added 34 assists in the win.

The Seawolves hit .248 in the match and outdug the Hawks, 54-32.
