Stony Brook allowed the Danes to score the last five points of the match after building a 28-25 lead in an attempt to force a game five.
Valerie Maloy had 24 kills, 12 digs and hit .250. Senior Debra Falkenberg hit .394, collecting 16 kills and Susanne Westing had 19 digs.
The Seawolves' defense could not stop the tandem of Fallon Hearst and Alissa Gibbs, both who had 27 kills. Hearst also was a menace on defense with 16 digs.
