Stony Brook, N.Y. - Freshman Ted Freeborn was named Stony Brook Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 10.

Freeborn led the men's swimming team to a 149-64 victory over St. Peter's on Saturday as the Seawolves improved to 4-3 on the year. He had two individual first-place finishes and swam on the men's 200 medley relay that also won.

Freeborn dominated the sprint freestyle events, winning the 100 free relay in 49.69 and the 200 free relay. Freeborn, along with Jason Ferrara, Igor Voloshin and Vasiliy Rodin, posted a victory in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:41.16.
