The Stony Brook men's tennis team defeated Binghamton, 4-3, in an America East Conference dual match on Friday.
Jens Pillgram-Larsen and Gareth Williams won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles, and the No. 3 team of Philippe Amireault and James Carpenter recorded an 8-4 victory to give the Seawolves the doubles point.
Pillgram-Larsen and Amireault added straight-set singles victories, as did Egil Anonsen. Pillgram-Larsen won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Anonsen gave up just three games in a 6-2, 6-1 victory. Amireault won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4 singles to give Stony Brook the 4-3 victory.
The Seawolves improve to 10-5 overall this season and square off against Albany in another America East match on Saturday.
