Boston, Mass. - Rachel Goldsmith had 18 kills and Julie Zub keyed the Stony Brook attack with 59 assists to lead the Seawolves to a 3-2 win (30-23, 17-30, 24-30, 30-28, 12-15) over first place Northeastern Saturday afternoon. The Seawolves upended the Huskies for the second time in 2003 to improve to 17-12, 8-4 in conference play while NU fell to 22-8 on the season and 10-2 in America East play.

Stony Brook was led by Goldsmith who finished the match with 18 kills and 12 digs. Sarah Bauer chipped in with 14 kills while Maria Samilo and Tesha Harry tallied 11 kills apiece. Samilo was a force at the net, adding nine blocks in the win.

The Seawolves are the only team to defeat Northeastern in conference action this season.

Stony Brook is back in action next weekend when it wraps up regular season play against UMBC and Binghamton.
