The Stony Brook men's tennis team fell to Princeton on Friday as the Tigers earned a 5-2 victory.
The Seawolves (1-3), got off to a good start by winning the doubles point. The duo of Egil Anonsen and Michael Crooks posted an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Jean-Francois Robitaille and David Hewitt won, 8-6, at No. 3.
However, Princeton went on to capture five of the six singles matches to earn the victory. Crooks won the first set at the No. 2 spot, 6-2, but ended up falling by a score of 2-6, 6-4, 6-1. Hewitt picked up the only singles victory for the Seawolves, recording a 4-6, 6-4, 3-1 victory at No. 5.
