The Stony Brook men's tennis team earned an exciting 4-3 victory over Colgate while the women's team lost 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
After dropping the doubles point, the Seawolves (2-3) captured the top four singles matches to earn the win. Michael Crooks recorded a three-set victory at No. 1 singles, while Jean-Francois Robitaille won in straight sets at No. 2. No. 3 Egil Anonsen also posted a three-set victory. The decision came down to the No. 4 singles match, which David Hewitt won with a 7-6 victory in the third set.
On the women's side, the Seawolves (2-2) did not win a set in falling to Colgate.
