Volleyball Wins Fifth Straight With Sweep Of Yale

Staten Island, N.Y. - Stony Brook volleyball won its fifth straight match with an impressive three-game sweep of Yale at the Wagner College Invitational Saturday afternoon. The Seawolves improved to 6-8 with a straight set defeat of the Bulldogs by scores of 30-24, 30-19, and 30-26.

For Stony Brook Rachel Goldsmith had 17 kills and nine digs, while Danielle MacKnight knocked down 10 kills.

Yale was led by Jana Freeman with 10 kills.

Stony Brook is back in action Sunday for a pair of matches against Wagner and Morgan State.
