Binghamton Blanks Men's Soccer 4-0

Vestal, N.Y. - Binghamton scored a pair of goals 18 seconds apart in the first half en route to a 4-0 victory over Stony Brook in America East men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at West Gym Field. The loss was the second straight for the Seawolves, as they fell to 8-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play, while the Bearcats improved to 8-1-5 and 2-1-2.

Binghamton got on the board in the 16th minute on a goal by Charles Darkwah. Adam Chavez and Mike Austin picked up goals 18 minutes apart in the 34th minute to give the Bearcats a 3-0 lead. Graham Munro added a goal 16 minutes into the second half to seal the win.

John Moschella turned away 11 shots in the loss, while Stefan Gonet made two saves in the shutout.

The Seawolves are back in action on Wednesday when they host New Hampshire at 5:00 p.m.
