Stony Brook, N.Y. - Michael Crooks earns Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after an outstanding week where he went a perfect 4-0 without losing a set in helping Stony Brook post two wins last week.

Crooks paved the way for the Seawolves in a mid-week 4-3 conference victory over America East rival Binghamton. Crooks won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and then teamed with James Carpenter to win at No. 3 doubles.

Later in the week, he won again at No. 2 singles and No. 3 doubles in SB's win over Vermont.

Crooks is 34-12 this season and the Seawolves are now 12-1, 4-0 in conference play. SB is ranked No. 73 in the nation.
