Bronx, N.Y. - Stony Brook's Sarah Bauer registered a career-high 23 kills to go with 11 digs, while Kate Ruskowski dished out 35 assists with five service aces and six digs, as the Seawolves rallied from two games down to beat the Fordham Rams, three games to two, by scores of 26-30, 24-30, 30-26, 30-22, and 15-10.

Fordham looked strong in the first two games as they hit .313 as a team and took a 2-0 lead in the match as sophomore Kealia Ieremia and sophomore Jamee Stimson each had eight kills. Stony Brook would fight their way back into the match, however, taking game three, 30-26, and then hit better than .300 in the final two games to take the match in five.

Bauer had a match-high 23 kills while Sarah Votruba had her best match in a Seawolves uniform, posting a career-best 17 kills.

Stony Brook will be back in action on September 17-18, when the Seawolves travel to Loretto, Pa., to face Loyola, Iona and tournament-host St. Francis.
