Volleyball Swept 3-0 By Seton Hall

South Orange, N.J. - Freshman Noelle Bay hit for 11 kills and seven digs, but the Seawolves were swept 3-0 (30-25, 33-31, 30-21) by Seton Hall. Stony Brook falls to 7-12 on the season and Seton Hall improves to 9-11.

After opening the match by hitting only .189 in the first game, the Seawolves responded by hitting .317 in Game 2, but were edged 33-31 by Seton Hall. Bay led the Seawolves with 11 kills and Amy Oleksiej and Sarah Votruba each added nine. Claire Lindner led SBU in digs with nine.

Jennifer Procuniar paced the Seton Hall attack with a match-high 12 kills and Breanna Leisner pitched in with 11.

The Seawolves return to action on Sunday, October 16 when they return to America East play as they host Maine at 1:00 PM.
