West Point, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's and women's tennis teams each were defeated by Army on Sunday morning in West Point, N.Y. The men's team fell 6-1 to the Black Knights, while the women's squad was swept 7-0. After the losses, the men's team stands at 4-3 in dual match play this season and the women's team now holds a 3-2 mark.

In men's play, the Seawolves started well by taking the doubles point as Michael Crooks and Jean-Francois Robitaille teamed to win 8-4 at No. 1 and the duo of Tal Meir and David Kortum won 8-5 at No. 2. Stony Brook could not break through in singles play however, dropping all six matches.

The men's team will be back in action next Saturday at Princeton, while the women will take on America East foe Albany.
