Binghamton, N.Y. - Shirlee Manoogian captured two individual first place finishes and heped her 400 medley relay team to a win in Stony Brook's 143-98 victory over the Bearcats on Saturday afternoon at Binghamton.

Manoogian touched the wall first in the 200 IM in a time of 2:08.82 and then again in the 500 freestyle in 5:03.13. Her 400 medley relay team of Kim Harris, Alison Porteus and Allison DeSanti took the top spot as both Harris and Porteus went on to take individual wins at the meet as well. Harris finished first in the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:13.66, while Porteus touched the wall first in the 200 breaststroke in 2:27.09 for the win.

Harris and her 400 freestyle relay team of Courtney Teague, Autumn Griggers and Jamie Bevilacqua also secured a first place finish as well. Bevilacqua touched the wall first for an individual win in the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:59.30.

Kate Zabler touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:20.06 in the win. Diver Hailey Lewandowski took the top spots in the 1-meter and 3-meter boards to help the Seawolves over the Bearcats.

On the men's side, Nathan French took two individual wins as the Seawolves fell to the Bearcats 134-98.

French's time of 10:14.40 was good for a first place finish in the 1000 freestyle. He finished first in the 200 backstroke in 10:14.40 and was one of two Seawolves on the men's side to win an event in the meet.

Kirill Alekseyev touched the wall first in the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:15.66 to help himself to a win for SB. Ted Freeborn had a pair of second place finishes in the 100 and 50 freestyles, but it wasn't enough for a Stony Brook win.

Both teams are back in action on February 17 in Baltimore for the America East Championships at UMBC.
