The Stony Brook men's tennis team was downed 6-1 by Binghamton on Saturday afternoon at University Courts. With the loss, the Seawolves fall to 10-7 on the season.
Binghamton took the doubles point, earning a 9-8 victory at No. 2 and 8-5 decision at No. 3. The Seawolves duo of Jan Krejci and Tal Meir cruised to an 8-2 win at No. 1.
The Bearcats went on to capture five of the six singles matches, with David Kortum earning Stony Brook's only victory in number four singles, a 7-5, 6-1 win over Faisal Mohamed.
