Nihal Advani defeated three players from Boston College on Sunday at the ITA Regionals en route to claiming the consolation crown. After losing his first match of the tournament, Advani cruised to five straight wins to claim the championship.
Advani opened the day with a straight set win over Alex Rastorgouev, 6-1, 6-4, and then bested Rastorgouev's teammate from Boston College, Jason Sechrist, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), to reach the finals. In the championship match, Advani defeated his third Boston College opponent of the day as he defeated Thomas Nolan, 6-4, 6-2.
Youssef Fassi-Fehri fell to Faisal Mohamed of Binghamton in the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket, 6-4, 6-3.
