In the opening half Ford scored eight of the Seawolves first 10 points as Stony Brook opened an early 10-2 lead. Leah Getz scored all nine of her points in the second half as Iona was not able to pull any closer than 11 points in the final 10 minutes of play.

Ford led the way with a season-high 27 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block. Kelly Watson chipped in 16 points off the bench and Jessica Smith and Getz each dropped nine.
