The Stony Brook volleyball team was swept by Binghamton 3-0 (30-28, 30-25, 30-17) on Friday evening. Stony Brook was outhit .246 to .098 as the Seawolves fall to 12-15 overall and 5-5 in America East. Binghamton improves to 13-15 overall and 7-2 in conference.
Morgan Sweany led the offense for Stony Brook totaling a match-high 14 kills while only hitting .089. Gulce Nazli Dikecligil added 12 kills, Claire Lindner pitched in 12 digs and Kaitlyn Deutsch tallied 34 assists in the loss.
The Seawolves return to action on Wednesday, November 8 when they host Albany. The match is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start.
