Men's Tennis Rallies Past Army, 4-3

West Point, N.Y. - With the dual match all knotted up at three games apiece, senior captain Tal Meir outlasted his opponent at number two singles, 5-7, 7-6, 7-6 to clinch the come from behind victory over Army, 4-3. This was the first win over Army for the men's tennis team in program history and pulls the Seawolves to .500 on the season at 5-5.

Stony Brook was down early after dropping the doubles point. Mike Crooks and Tal Meir earned the only Seawolf doubles win, when the duo won at No. 2 doubles, 8-2.

After losing at No. 1 and No. 6 singles and with Nihal Advani winning 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3, the Seawolves found themselves down 3-1. Youseff Fassi-Fehri edged his opponent at No. 5 singles, 7-6, 7-6 and Jean Francois-Robitaille won at No. 4, 6-4, 6-7, 6-4 to tie the match. Then Meir pulled off the comeback to clinch the win at No. 2 singles and the match for Stony Brook.

The Seawolves return to action on Saturday, when they take on Fairleigh Dickinson.
