The Stony Brook men's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 sweep of Siena on Tuesday afternoon. The Seawolves have won four straight and improve to 10-6 on the season.
Stony Brook came out sweeping all three doubles matches en route to the doubles point. Tal Meir and Mike Crooks won at No. 1 doubles, 8-4, Jean-Francois Robitaille and Nihal Advani won at No. 2, 8-5 and the duo of Youssef Fassi-Fehri and Dave Kortum won easy at No. 3, 8-0.
The Seawolves went on to sweep all six singles matches without losing a set in the win. Meir won at No. 1, 6-2, 6-2, Crooks rolled at No. 2, 6-1, 6-1, Advani won at No. 3, 6-0, 6-1, Fassi-Fehri won at No. 4, 6-0, 6-3, Robitaille won at No. 5, 6-3, 6-0 and Matt Jacobson completed the sweep at No. 6, 6-0, 6-1.
The Seawolves return to action on Tuesday, April 18 when they host Quinnipiac. The match is scheduled for a 2:30 P.M. start.
