The Stony Brook men's tennis team swept Boston University, 7-0, on Sunday afternoon. The team won all three doubles matches, and didn't drop a single set in singles as they defeated Boston University to improve to 7-6 on the season and 1-0 in America East play.
After claiming all three doubles matches to claim the doubles point, Stony Brook wasted no time in winning all six singles matches for the sweep. Tal Meir won at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-3, Mike Crooks won at No. 2, 6-1, 6-1, Nihal Advani won at No. 3, 6-2, 6-3, Jean-Francois Robitaille won at No. 4, 6-3, 6-2, Youssef Fassi-Fehri won at No. 5, 6-0, 6-1 and Dave Kortum won at No. 6, 6-0, 6-0.
The men return to action on Wednesday, when they host Hofstra. The match is scheduled for a 3:00 P.M. start.
