The Stony Brook men's tennis team lost a hard fought match to Princeton, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon. With the loss the men's tennis team falls to 4-5 on the year. Four of the six singles matches were decided in the third set.
Princeton won two of the three doubles matches to claim the point, with the lone Stony Brook win coming from Nihal Advani and Quirijn Van Veen at No. 1 doubles. The Seawolves only point came from Alex Markovich, who won at No. 6 singles, 2-6, 7-5, 7-5. Princeton claimed victories at lines one through five singles as they rolled to the 6-1 win.
