Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Lukasz Ochmanski (Lodz, Poland) has been named the America East Male Swimmer of the Week, according to a release from the conference office on Tuesday. Ochmanski won three events last week, setting a new Stony Brook school record in one of them. This is the second time this season he has earned this honor.

In the Seawolves meet against Iona and St. Francis (N.Y.) last Tuesday, Ochmanski completed the 200-yard IM in a record breaking time of 1:56.11. He also won the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:05.64) and was part of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team.

Ochmanski and the rest of the Seawolves will be training for the rest of December before heading down to Key Largo, Fla. in early January for the Orange Bowl Classic.
