Stony Brook, N.Y. - Helping his team to a perfect 3-0 weekend, freshman Mitch Wong (Tampa, Fla.) of the Stony Brook men's tennis team has been named this week's Simplex Grinnell Athlete of the Week. Wong helped the Seawolves extend their unbeaten streak to eight straight over the weekend as the team defeated Binghamton, Hartford and UMBC on consecutive days. Wong won all three singles and all three doubles matches that he played, dropping just two games total over his final two singles matches of the weekend.
