West Hartford, Conn. - A 53rd minute goal from Hartford's Rohan Roye was the difference Wednesday night as the Hawks sqeaked by the #Seawolves 1-0.

"Tonight was a hard-fought conference game that was even throughout the 90 minutes," Anatol said. "There is a fine line between getting the result and coming up empty. They buried their chance and we didn't. That was the difference."

- Roye walked down the middle of the Stony Brook defense and unleashed a perfect shot just moments before the stepping defender could close him down, beating redshirt freshman Tom McMahon (Nassau Bay, Texas) to the far post.
Highlights
- Sophomore Jorge Torres (Miami, Fla.) short-hopped a dangerous free kick on the Hartford goal with the game scoreless in the first half but the Hawks keeper did well to corral the shot without spilling a rebound.
- With the Seawolves trailing by a goal in the second half, redshirt freshman Fernando Wadskier (Caracas, Venezuela) slid to redirect a cross on goal but the Hartford goalkeeper secured the ball on the goal line.
