Stony Brook falls to New Hampshire

Durham, N.H. - The Stony Brook volleyball team fell in three sets to New Hampshire (17-25, 18-25, 13-25) Saturday in an America East match at Lundholm Gymnasium. In the defeat, the Seawolves fall to 8-14 and 4-2 in America East, while the Wildcats improve to 14-7 and 6-0 in conference play.

Highlights
- Senior Kathy Fletcher (West Chicago, Ill.) led the Seawolves with eight kills.
- Senior Nicole Vogel (Costa Mesa, Calif.) recorded 22 assists and nine digs.
- Freshman McKyla Brooks (Blasdell, N.Y.) was in on all three of the Seawolves’ blocks.
- Freshman Taylor Wilson (Corydon, Ind.) had six kills for Stony Brook.

Notes
- The Seawolves stand in third place in the America East standings at the halfway point of conference play. New Hampshire leads the way at 6-0 with Albany at 4-1 prior to the Great Danes’ match Sunday.
