The Stony Brook volleyball team clinched a berth in the America East Volleyball Championship with a four-set win over Hartford (25-21, 25-14, 17-25, 25-14) Sunday afternoon at Pritchard Gymnasium. With the win, the Seawolves improve to 12-18 and 6-6 in America East, while the Hawks fall to 2-26 and 1-11 in conference play.

- Freshman Morgan Kath (Muskego, Wis.) notched 31 assists in three sets of action.
- Freshman McKyla Brooks (Blasdell, N.Y.) hit .692 (10k-1e-13ta) in the victory.
- Sophomore Melann Amory (Center Valley, Pa.) and senior Lo Hathaway (Warsaw, N.Y.) were also in double-figures in digs with 13 and 10, respectively.
