Seawolves fall to Albany in America East semifinals

Durham, N.H. - The 2015 season came to a close for the Stony Brook volleyball team Friday evening with a three-set loss (18-25, 19-25, 15-25) at the hands of Albany at Lundholm Gymnasium. With the defeat, the Seawolves end the year at 12-9, while Albany improves to 17-8.

Highlights
- Freshman Taylor Wilson (Corydon, Ind.) finished with eight kills and a career-high 13 digs.
- Senior Stephanie McFadden (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) had seven kills and three aces. McFadden finishes her Seawolves career with 153 aces, good for eighth in program history.
- Sophomore Melann Amory (Center Valley, Pa.) tied for the team-high with eight kills.
- Senior Kathy Fletcher (West Chicago, Ill.) had six kills and 12 digs. Fletcher finishes her Seawolf career with 843 kills and 697 digs.
- Senior Nicole Vogel (Costa Mesa, Calif.) notched 12 digs. Vogel finishes her career with 905 career digs to go along with 2,693 assists.

- The Seawolves fall to 4-10 at the America East Championship.
- Stony Brook falls to 12-28 against Albany in the Division I era.
