Quotes . . .
Steve Pikiell
"I'm proud of our team's effort tonight. I thought they showed a lot of grit and determination after last week's game. It seemed like Nwamu's final shot hit every part of the rim before going in. We'll bounce back. This team has been resilient all year long. We've got no seniors so I'm excited to get working with this group again."
Key Moment
Both teams continued to shoot at a torrid pace down the stretch. Mitchell and Puriefoy each hit threes to tie the game late in regulation. After Puriefoy's basket tied the game at 70, Nwamu made a move to the basket with four seconds left and his jumper finally went down with 1.2 seconds left.
