Stony Brook edged by Quinnipiac, 4-3

Hamden, Conn. - The Stony Brook men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 4-3 loss to Quinnipiac Tuesday.  Sophomores Raphael Termat (Nice, France) and Alexandre Felisa (Boulogne, France) each won singles matches.

Termat defeated Kei Ezaka, 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and Felisa topped Jonas Kuwert, 7-6, 6-3 at No. 2.  It was the seventh singles wins in dual matches for Termat and Felisa, tying junior Jose Morales (Bradenton, Fla.) for the team lead.

Sophomore Kenzo Kauffmann beat Luke Roser, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5.

Felisa and Morales combined to post a victory, 8-5, at No. 1 doubles, but the Seawolves (5-7) lost the doubles point.

Stony Brook will head to St. Louis for the Missouri Valley Championship Friday.  The Seawolves will play Illinois State Friday morning at 9 a.m.
