STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Coming off the CAA Football win at Towson last weekend, Stony Brook looks to keep the momentum going when they host Rhode Island on Saturday at 4 p.m. in a conference game for Homecoming on the Seawolves' campus.

Opponent
Rhode Island is 1-5 overall this season and 0-3 in CAA Football play. The Rams' win came at home over Brown on Oct. 1, while URI has dropped conference games at home to Albany and New Hampshire and on the road at Villanova.

The Series
This will be the fourth meeting between the two conference foes. Towson owns a 2-1 series advantage, but the road team has won each game. The Tigers took last year's meeting, 21-14, on Oct. 17 in LaValle Stadium.

Last Time Out
Stony Brook improved to 2-0 in the CAA with a 27-20 road win at Towson. RB Stacey Bedell scored twice and collected 125 of the Seawolves' 205 rushing yards, while RB Jordan Gowins added 62 yards on the ground and his first collegiate touchdown. QB Joe Carbone tossed a career-high 165 yards and ran for a touchdown. DB Jaheem Woods had 10 tackles, including a big stop on a fourth down by the Tigers, and a key interception late in the game.

Nothing says college football like a parking lot tailgate!  Help us transform Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium parking lot into a family-friendly pregame tailgate. Seawolves Town features jugglers, carnival games, face painting, mini-golf and a mechanical bull!  At 2 p.m. enjoy our pregame concert featuring Long Island's own country rock band Southbound.  All Seawolves Town entertainment is free for all to enjoy.  Parking passes and personal tailgate areas are available for fans that wish to be right in the middle of the action. Student Ticket Update – Stony Brook University undergraduate students can pick up their tickets at any of the Homecoming week events.  Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served policy and subject to availability.
