Stony Brook, N.Y. – Career nights from sophomores
Taylor Wilson (Corydon, Ind.) and
McKyla Brooks (Blasdell, N.Y.) lifted the Stony Brook volleyball team to a four-set win over America East foe Binghamton (17-25, 25-17, 25-23, 26-24) Friday night at Pritchard Gymnasium. With the win, the Seawolves improve to 5-13 and 1-2 in America East, while the Bearcats drop to 8-9 and 2-2 in conference play.
By the Numbers
- Wilson led the way with a career-high 21 kills, as the sophomore middle hit .472 (21k-4e-36ta) and added six digs.
- Brooks racked up a career-best 19 kills while hitting .412 (19k-5e-34ta) and tallied four blocks.
